Useful Info

Spatial maelstroms are a more advanced form of a spatial vortex, no longer confused and now capable of creating spatial vortices by converting walls into chaos. In small numbers they aren't too deadly, but a swarm of them will tear you apart at the molecular level. They can be found in the Abyss.

Tips & Tricks

  • Their distortion attacks can chew through your HP rapidly, their breeding habits result in the situation getting worse over time, and it's nearly impossible to outrun them. Once one spots you, don't be afraid to go a little overboard in eradicating it quickly.
  • If you do get swarmed, there's a chance you'll find yourself banished to a deeper level of the Abyss. This is by no means a safe method of delving deeper, especially once you hit the deepest, most deadly floors.
  • If possible, try to lure them into wide open areas so that they won't breed to an uncontrollable degree. More often than not, however, you don't find them until they've already had some time to multiply.

History
