Spatial maelstroms are a more advanced form of a spatial vortex, no longer confused and now capable of creating spatial vortices by converting surrounding and walked-into walls into chaos. Their speed, wall destruction, and rapid distortion hits make them high-profile threats within the branch. They can be found solely in the Abyss and such-themed Ziggurat floors - anywhere else, even when inflicted with Corruption, will expel maelstroms back to the Abyss.
Tips & Tricks
- The spatial vortexes produced from these maelstroms wandering the Abyss are some of the only that appear in Abyss, outside of one exit vault and one rune vault: as such, seeing multiple spatial vortexes is a warning in and of itself of the eye of the storm being in that vague direction
