A mountain hobgoblin, recently come in search of the legendary Orb. Not foolhardy or reckless enough to delve into the depths of the Dungeon alone, Robin has built a small army of minions. Potential competitors will quickly find a stream of screaming goblins flying toward them! |
Useful Info
Robin is a unique hobgoblin who wanders the early floors of the dungeon, accompanied by a massive band of goblin followers. Although none of them are particularly powerful individually, Robin will hurl their goblins at you, swarming you with opponents who can then be inspired, allowing them to deal significant amounts of damage.

Tips & Tricks
- Limiting Robin's ability to swarm you reduces them to a threat no stronger than Ijyb. If you can lure Robin around a corner or use a dead end to restrict the number of enemies that can reach you at once, you can avoid an embarrassing gobliny death.
- While Robin's goblins generate with them in one big swarm, goblins are mostly solitary monsters and don't possess the pack mentality to stay together like other naturally swarming monsters. If you come across Robin (or any overly large group of goblins) that are mostly sleeping/resting, it's a simple task to draw away one or two on the edge of your (and their) line of sight and dispatch them individually, slowly pruning the horde down to manageable levels.
- Robin always spawns with a helmet, letting most species gain a nice little AC bonus in the early game.
