Useful Info
Bunyips are fast-moving, slow attacking monsters of the Swamp. They are exceptionally similar to a Juggernaut, even sharing the same maximum damage. Bunyips swing 3 times every attack, increasing the power of AC and EV.

Tips & Tricks
- Running away is even more difficult than a Juggernaut; the Swamp's watery terrain makes it difficult for any non Merfolk to escape. Combing a potion of flight (or natural flight) and a potion of haste will give you enough space to escape, or you can teleport with a scroll of blinking or Passage of Golubria.
- Due to their exceptionally slow attack speed, they often won't follow or attack you if you choose to go up a stairs.
- Their will isn't exceptionally high at this stage of the game; blasting enough hexes or MR-checking wands can prove to be useful. Unfortunately, their rPois makes curae darts ineffective.
Trivia
Bunyips are creatures from Australian Aboriginal mythology.
