A beautiful statue of an unknown creature, glistening with a silvery hue. Its eyes glow with an otherworldly, malignant radiance. If approached, it may call forth demons to defend itself.

Useful Info

Silver statues are stationary monsters that attack by summoning tier 2, 3, 4 and 5 demons when you enter their LOS. They are highly resistant to most forms of attack, but can be instantly and reliably dispatched with a single zap of a wand of disintegration, the spell Shatter, or Lee's Rapid Deconstruction. Their ability to summon demons is not a spell, but rather a special effect for each turn the statue can see you: 33% chance of nothing, 33% chance of a 5, 33% chance of 2, 3, or 4. Silence has no impact on this ability.

Tips & Tricks

• They do not see invisible, and so will not summon if you are invisible.
• An amulet of warding can help with the hordes of summoned demons, but be aware it has no effect on demons' spellcasting. Watch out for neqoxecs, tormentors, and hellions in particular.

In 0.15, silver statues are immune to wands of disintegration.
