Clarity is an intrinsic which protects you from confusion, being misled, and from going berserk unwillingly. Its power is limited, however, and it cannot protect you from confusion inflicted by Xom, or the wrath of any other god. It also does not prevent you from willingly going berserk, such as via potion of berserk rage or Trog. Clarity shields you from the confusion and damage effects of Mephitic Cloud. Clarity does not prevent mesmerization.
