Grum is a unique gnoll who comes with a band of war dogs, usually wielding a reaching-branded whip or a two-handed polearm.

Tips & Tricks
While Grum isn't that tough on his own, his dogs can seriously complicate things, especially if you give him the opportunity to use his reaching weapon against you from a safe distance. Use narrow hallways to prevent that, or blast them all with a Mephitic Cloud to simplify things.
History
With the removal of war dogs in 0.13, Grum will run with a pack of wolves instead.
