Transforms the user into an agile jumping spider who can move swiftly towards foes and inflict grievous damage on any it catches unaware. Its attacks can also ensnare its enemies in webs and it can leap briskly away from many dangers. |
A spider talisman is a talisman that transforms you into a jumping spider.
Useful Info
When eVoked, a spider talisman puts you into Spider Form, which lasts until you end the form. Entering or exiting a form takes 5 turns.
Spider Form has the following effects:
Offensive traits
- Unarmed Combat: 3 base damage (no bonus)
- Unarmed attacks gain short blade-tier stabbing bonuses
- Small chance to ensnare enemies in a web on hit (20% - 40%, depending on the Shapeshifting skill)
- Rampaging
- +5 dexterity
Defensive traits
- Poison vulnerability (rPois-)
- Innate EV: +5-15 EV, scaling with Shapeshifting skill
- Tiny size (+6 base EV and Dodging skill bonus compared to a medium-sized species)
- Stealth+
- Jump ability: Transports you to a random tile in LOS (like the Blink spell), causes you to evade all attacks you can evade, and has a chance to cause enemies to lose track of you. (Cooldown)
Restrictions
- Melded Gear: All weapons and armor
- Suppressed mutations: Anatomy, blood, bones
Spider Form has a minimum Shapeshifting skill of 12, below which you get an HP penalty. Maximum skill is 20.
