An ogre emissary of the Ironbound Order, sent to find and stop intruders before they enter the Vaults. Fiercely charismatic, he's rallied a small army of his kin, overawing them with the long-range lightning array he wears on his back. (The large coin purse he took from the Vaults is also quite persuasive.) |
Useful Info
Lodul the Thundrous is a unique ogre with the same Call Down Lightning of an ironbound thunderhulk, albeit somewhat weaker. He spawns with a pack of ogres and a fair sum of gold.

Tips & Tricks
- See ironbound thunderhulk, except that he lacks blink.
- You aren't likely to have a source of antimagic at this point in the game, and both Silence and the phial of floods don't work against mechanical magic. A potion of resistance at least can lower the damage.
- His willpower matches that of a two-headed ogre. A wand of polymorph most likely will create a non-threatening monster with his 6 HD.
