Returning
A skilled user can throw it in such a way that it will return to its owner.
Weapons with the returning brand will return to the user's pack when thrown or otherwise launched. The chance of returning successfully depends on the wielder's Throwing skill:
If Throwing is 0, the weapon never returns; if Throwing is 1, the probability of failing to return is 0.33; if it is 2, the probability is 0.2; otherwise, it is 1/(4 + Throwing). At level 27, the chance of returning successfully is close to 0.97.
Weapons of Returning wiggle slightly when wielded.
Only daggers, hand axes, spears and javelins can have the returning brand.
Branded ammunition shops may offer other missiles with this brand, such as arrows, bolts and large rocks.
