Useful Info
Archer statues are stationary longbow-wielding statues which shoot arrows at you whenever you're in their LOS. They resist all elemental damage and can't be destroyed with a wand of disintegration. Even worse, they often come with a ring of bushes surrounding them, preventing you from getting them in melee, and certain archer statue vaults will arm them with branded bows (such as chaos, for instance}.
Tips & Tricks
- The fastest way to take them out is with high power non-elemental Conjurations. IMB will take them down eventually, but Iron Shot or better will speed the process up significantly.
- To take them down in relative safety, use Freezing Cloud. They're resistant to cold, but it'll chip away at them each time you cast it, and you don't have to stand in their line of sight while this is going on.
- They have a limited ammo supply. If you can be patient, you can step into their range, take an arrow or two, step back, and heal up before repeating the process. Once they stop firing, simply march in and smash the statue.
