A shambling reanimated corpse. Trapped by evil spellweaving in a grotesque parody of life, this infected decaying body lurches about, seeking retribution on the living. |
Useful Info
Plague shamblers are putrid undead humanoids which seek only to spread the horrific rot that fills their flesh. Their powerful melee attacks inflict both sickness and retching in their victims, and upon death, their body spills out a rapidly expanding cloud of miasma. They can be found in the Crypt and the lower portions of the Dungeon.
Tips & Tricks
- Particularly slow characters may wish to blink away as soon as they defeat a plague shambler, as the miasma will spread faster than you can walk. No one wants to rot any more than they absolutely have to.
History
Plague shamblers were added in 0.13, replacing rotting hulks.
