A huge clay statue that has been animated by occult means. “Once upon a time a great Cabbalist lived in Prague called the Rabbi Löw. He made a human figure of clay, and left a small aperture in the lesser brain in which he laid a parchment with the unutterable name of God written on it. The clod immediately arose and was a man; he performed all the duties of a servant for his creator, he fetched water, and hewed wood. Useful Info

Clay golems are slow-moving, non-living monsters that are absolutely immune to all enchantment magic and most elemental magic. Fortunately, they don't hit too hard in melee, and non-elemental Conjurations still affect them just fine. They are uncommonly encountered in the Dungeon and may appear in Volcanoes.

Tips & Tricks

Extremely fragile characters should take advantage of their slow speed and kite them. Otherwise, they're not too threatening.

Variant Clay Golem

Cigotuvi's Fleshworks contains a flesh golem in the first chamber past the prison cells. It isn't any stronger than a regular clay golem, but the chamber does contain clouds of mutagenic fog, so try to stick to the edges.
