A divine warrior of The Shining One, it is a towering winged figure of unnatural beauty surrounded by an aura of brilliant white light. It appears to be weightless and quite agile while flying, despite wearing heavy armour. |
Useful Info
Angels are the servants of the Shining One, often equipped with blessed weapons of holy wrath and capable of healing themselves. Even worse, striking one down may trigger the cleansing flame of the Shining One, causing an unavoidable blast of experience level-proportional holy damage that is extremely dangerous to wounded undead or demonspawn characters. On the other hand, followers of good gods may be deemed worthy, and the angel will be neutral toward you.
They are thankfully very rare, appearing only in the Abyss, holy Pandemonium and Ziggurat floors, or certain rare vaults in which the angel is harmlessly tucked away.
