Storm Form (spell)
Storm Form is a level 7 Transmutations / Air spell.
Effect
Storm Form turns you into lightning, with the following changes:
Pros
- Unarmed Combat receives cleaving, is electricity-branded, and has a base damage of
2 + power / 3. - Gain innate AC and EV based on spell power:
10 + power / 10AC and a bonuspower / 10EV. - Blinkbolt: Bolt-targeted ability that deals electric damage to everything in its path, then blinks you to the end. Has a cooldown. Works while silenced.
- Electricity resistance
- Nonliving (grants immunity to poison & miasma)
- Insubstantial (grants immunity to constriction, petrification, and being set on fire; reduces damage from Shatter)
- Flight
Cons
- All equipment slots except for rings and amulets meld into the new form.
- Unable to throw items.
- Requires high spell power to be effective.
Strategy
Storm Form is a high damage form that scales well with spell power. At low spell power, Dragon Form deals more damage to single targets.
This form is surprisingly durable. You retain your natural EV, and gain bonuses to both EV and AC. Even though Dragon Form has 150% health, because it is giant, you lose EV in the process.
Like Dragon Form, Storm Form benefits greatly from support magic such as Ozocubu's Armour and Manifold Assault.
