Useful Info

Xtahua the Ancient is a unique fire dragon. Xtahua is much more durable than a regular dragon and has upscaled physical attacks and fire breath (3d38). Unlike most dragons, he can open doors. Butchering Xtahua's corpse may produce an inscribed fire dragon hide, though it has no particular special powers.

Tips & Tricks

Xtahua can conceivably one-shot fragile, unprepared characters, and even beefier characters can't stand up to too much of his fire breath. Pile on the fire resistance (or Deflect Missiles to make his breath miss you entirely) and deal your damage quickly, as he's still a menace in melee range. If at all possible, use freezing weapons or Ice Magic to take advantage of his vulnerability, but avoid fire and poison.
