Useful Info

Gloorx Vloq is a unique Pandemonium lord, a master of Necromancy and guardian of the dark rune of Zot. He's twice as fast as most characters and his floor is filled with executioners and soul eaters.

Tips & Tricks

  • Gloorx may have fewer HP than some other Pan lords, but to many characters he's the most dangerous. He's twice as fast as most characters, hits hard in melee, and has an extraordinarily nasty spell set. Lichform casters should fight him while alive and undead characters may want to keep an army of summons up due to his Dispel Undead. Haste, poison resistance, and max negative energy resistance are all strongly recommended. Be very careful, and have a means of escape ready.
  • He completely ignores electricity damage, but has no fire resistance and only partial cold resistance. Fire Storm and Ice Storm are both extremely effective at quickly taking him down, but be aware he'll likely move to melee if given the chance.
  • Keep in mind Gloorx has no summon spells (and thus no Abjuration) as well as only one melee attack, so an army of summoned creatures can kill him fairly easily (though he will chew through them pretty quickly all the same). Haunt is particularly effective due to the high number of summons you get per casting.
  • Stabbers who manage to sneak up on him can usually kill him in a single hit, but if that fails, his EV is low enough that throwing nets work very well on him.

History

Prior to 0.13, Gloorx Vloq cast Invisibility as an emergency spell.
