A humanoid figure with the head and talons of a bird. Its ferociously combative nature belies its fragile appearance.

Useful Info
Tengu are unremarkable flying monsters, occasionally found alone or in packs while exploring the Swamp, the Shoals, or the Abyss. Like most monstrous version of playable species, they are only as dangerous as the gear they wield.
Variant Tengu
You may encounter a tengu aerator while exploring a particular vault. Along with being much more durable than normal, they pack some extremely nasty Air Magic. They usually guard a staff of air and book of Air.
Spells: Lightning Bolt (3d20), Airstrike (0-40), Chain Lightning, Swiftness, Blink
This particularly ferocious tengu is well on its way towards mastery of air magic. |
Tips & Tricks
Tengu are weak enough to only pose a threat to low-level casters they catch in melee.
