Useful Info
Water elementals are hovering blobs of water, soaring through the air and pummeling their opponents. They are immune to electricity and poison, but are otherwise not too unusual. They are almost never found naturally, but can be summoned by the merfolk witch Ilsuiw. They may also be created by the player, through the level 4 Summonings spell, Summon Elemental.
Tips & Tricks
- Their electricity resistance makes it difficult for Air Elementalists to take them out, though Airstrike is a perfectly acceptable method for defeating them.
- Keep in mind that they move much faster when in water.
History
In 0.13, water elementals will have a drowning melee attack which will occasionally engulf any target they hit in melee with a mass of water. This effectively silences the victim, as well as dealing moderate asphyxiation damage each turn, though unbreathing and water-breathing targets are immune to this.
