A deck of magical cards, depicting a range of weird and wondrous creatures.

Crusade card

Power Level 0: Casts Abjuration at 1/4 the spell power of the card.

Power Levels 1 & 2: Attempts to convert all non-unique, non-magic immune monsters within your line of sight to your cause, then casts Abjuration as above. For each eligible monster in LOS, if 1d(spell power) > the monster's HD ×35, it will be temporarily charmed. Monsters that disgust your god are ineligible.

Herd card

Summons 1d(power/3)+1 animals (minimum 2). 50% of the time you'll get only one kind of monster; otherwise it's randomly jumbled. Higher spell power also reduces the odds of some animals arriving hostile.

Summons a friendly demon.

  • Power Level 0: Tier-5
  • Power Level 1: Tier-2, 3, or 4
  • Power Level 2: Tier-1

Dance card

Summons a temporary dancing weapon.

Foxfire card

Summons a pack of identical flying monsters. Beware of hostile monsters in the summoned pack. Any invisible monsters summoned will be hostile to players without see invisible.

Power Level 0: Two monsters, friendly 75% of the time

Power Level 1: Seven monsters, mostly friendly

Power level 2: Twelve monsters, mostly friendly

  • Insubstantial wisp
  • Vapour
  • Yellow wasp
  • Red wasp

Bones card

This card summons a skeletal monster to your immediate vicinity.

Repulsiveness card

This card summons a (very) ugly thing to your immediate vicinity.

  • Power Level 0: Ugly thing, friendly 75% of the time
  • Power Level 1: ugly thing (50%) or very ugly thing, friendly 83% of the time.
  • Power Level 2: very ugly thing, friendly 87% of the time.

Prior to 0.10, the Crusade card could give you permanent allies.
