Strategy
Walking Scroll Form is great for casters in the early-mid Dungeon. It provides valuable poison immunity, protecting from threats like adders and hornets, while providing boosts to MP, casting skill, and EV. You can get away with having no or very little Shapeshifting skill in this form.
Still, you must be careful of early fire attacks, such as from orc wizards, wands of flame, bombardier beetles, and weapons of flaming. In addition, you can't stay in this form forever due to the spell level cap.
If you find another talisman in a timely manner (e.g., a scarab talisman for fire casters, rime talisman for ice), this form can act as a useful bridge for those forms.
