Useful Info
Deep elf mages are flimsy but unpredictable deep elf casters, capable of hitting you with a wide variety of spells, though at reassuringly low spell power. While never harmless, they pale in comparison to some of the deadlier deep elf varieties. They can be found roaming the later floors of the Dungeon on their own, and often appear in packs with other deep elves in the Elven Halls, the Vaults and some baileys.

Tips & Tricks
Although far from harmless, prioritize taking out the other deep elves before attacking these.
History
- Deep elf magi were split into deep elf pyromancers and deep elf zephyrmancers in 0.27.
- Prior to 0.25, the Conjuration-focused spell set had Iskenderun's Mystic Blast instead of Force Lance.
- In 0.18, Deep elf mages became stronger and gained new spell sets, including spells previously cast by deep elf conjurers and summoners.
- Prior to 0.13, deep elf mages had spell sets identical to a wizard's, including such devastating spells as Banishment and Lehudib's Crystal Spear.
