---|---|
Launcher | Hunting sling / Fustibalus |
Base damage | 4 |
A small, heavy projectile shaped specifically for use with slings. It is more effective as ammunition than simple stones.
"For when things are once come to the execution, there is no secrecy comparable to celerity; like the motion of a bullet in the air, which flieth so swift as it outruns the eye." -Francis Bacon, _Essays_, "Of Delays". 1625. |
Sling bullets are one of the two kinds of missiles fired from a hunting sling or fustibalus using the Slings skill (the other being stones). They deal more damage than stones, but cannot simply be thrown.
