- Prior to 0.31, shortbows had 9 damage and a base delay of 15.
- Prior to 0.29, shortbows had a base delay of 13, a mindelay of 6 (at skill 14), used the Bows skill, and required arrows. They were also affected by the ranged weapons rework of this version.
- Prior to 0.15, shortbows were simply called "bows".
