The giant club is an inelegant but devastating weapon, dealing massive damage, but requiring the four arms of a Formicid or the sheer size of an Ogre or Troll to wield. It also requires a lot of skill to swing quickly.
They are fairly common, as ogres often carry them and can be encountered in the early Dungeon. However, they are inferior to giant spiked clubs, so you may want to save any scrolls of enchant weapon for one of those.
