Giant spiked club
| A giant lump of wood with sharp spikes at one end.
"oni-ni-kanabo" (oni with a spiked iron club)
-Japanese proverb indicating overwhelming power
This weapon falls into the 'Maces & Flails' category. It is a two handed weapon, and it is best used by the strong.
Giant spiked clubs are the largest, most powerful melee weapons in the game, requiring two hands to wield, very high skill to swing quickly, and only usable by troll or ogre players. Although very rare to find on their own, ogres will often carry these, meaning a lucky player could come across one in the early Dungeon. They are never branded normally, but can be affected by a scroll of brand weapon, and Trog or Okawaru may gift you randart giant spiked clubs (including ones with the much-coveted speed brand).
