This weapon falls into the 'Staves' category. It is a two handed weapon.
The quarterstaff is one of the best weapons available in the early game due to its excellent accuracy, power, and speed. It also uses the Staves skill, which can come in handy should you decide to use any magical staves to enhance your spellcasting in the future. Being two-handed weapons, quarterstaves can't be used with shields, so characters that plan to use one may wish to look into a different weapon.
