This fearsome weapon is covered in dried blood and crude engravings of torture and death, but bears a well-honed blade. The enormous axehead looks quite capable of dismembering any victim who falls afoul of it, and you feel confident that a single stroke would suffice.

This weapon falls into the Axes category. It is a two handed weapon, and it is best used by the strong.

The executioner's axe is a massive two-handed weapon, the most powerful melee option in the game for medium-sized characters. It deals extremely high amounts of damage, particularly when given a solid brand like freezing or holy wrath, but has such slow attack speed that only extremely skilled fighters can expect to use it effectively. An excellent choice for the extended game, executioner's axes are unfortunately very uncommon.
