Fighting
Fighting is a generic combat skill that provides extra hit points, as well as small bonuses to hit and damage. The base extra HP provided by Fighting is equal to:
(XP level * Fighting level) / 8
This base HP bonus is then modified by your species modifier; the Robust, Frail, and Rugged Brown Scales mutations; and certain form-altering spells. It is then rounded down to the nearest whole number, but the calculation does take into account partial Fighting skill level.
Examples
- A level 5 character with a Fighting skill of 5.0 receives a bonus of (5 * 5) / 8 = 3 HP.
- A level 15 character with a Fighting skill of 12.5 receives a bonus of (15 * 12.5) / 8 = 23 HP.
- A level 27 character with a Fighting skill of 27.0 receives a bonus of (27 * 27) / 8 = 91 HP.
