A member of a strain of hairy, cave-dwelling apes. He often spends long hours lying motionless in his den, staring at a glowing panel instead of doing something productive like questing for a so-called "jahb". He rarely emerges, apart from short food-gathering expeditions.

Spudwalt is fairly new to the ranks of the archivists. He rarely follows a set pattern in his contributions, instead moving erratically from one task to another much like a very hirsute bat. Despite his relative ineptitude, he remains determined to eventually score another victory in Dungeon Crawl.

I'm still fairly new to the whole Dungeon Crawl thing -- I've only been playing since Version .10 -- but I've been having a lot of fun with it. I've only ascended once, though, and with only 5 runes.
